  1. Do all sarees come with blouse piece?
    No, not all sarees come with blouse piece. It is mentioned in the description if it has a blouse piece or not.


  1. When can I expect my order? How many days does it take for delivery?
    We ship within 1-2 days of you placing the order. For domestic shipping it takes 4-5 days. In case of any exception we would call and inform you.


  1. What are the shipping charges for domestic and international shipping?
    We currently are not shipping Internationally. The Domestic shipping is charged based on the location of shipping. The same can be clarified at the time of purchasing.


  1. What are the modes of payment?
    You can pay through Online Transfer, Google Pay or PayTm. Cash on Delivery is also available presently.


  1. Can I order through Whatsapp, Instagram or Facebook?
    Yes, you can visit our Facebook page or our Instagram feed to place an order. You could also WhatsApp on 9611093994 to confirm order.


  1. What is the return Policy?
    Returns are accepted only on damaged products. You will have to ship the product to the address mentioned on the We thoroughly check our products before dispatch, and hence a damaged product reaching you is highly unlikely. However, despite out efforts to send you quality products, you still receive a damaged product, then please do let us know within 48 hours of you receiving the product with a complete video of the parcelreceived. Once we receive the product, we would do a quality check and once it passes the check we would refund the product amount.


  1. What is the exchange policy?
    In case you want to exchange the damaged product, with some other product, you may do so. You would have to inform us within 48 hours with a complete parcel opening video of the product received and ship it to our office address. Once we receive the product, we will ship you the product of your choice without charging you anything extra.


  1. Do you exchange or take back the sarees having fall and edging done?
    No, we do not take back or exchange the sarees having fall and edging done to it.


  1. Would someone come and pick the order from my place in case of return or exchange?
    No, we do not have the option of reverse shipping. You will have to send it via Speed Post from the nearest post office or any courier service of your choice.


  1. What if my product is defective?
    If the product sent to you is defective, we request you to inform us within 48 hours of receiving the product. Once we receive the defective product, we will ship you another product immediately or we can refund the amount you paid while placing order, except for the reverse shipping charges.


  1. What do I do if I face fitting issues?
    We recommend you to first check our size chart before placing an order. Incase you do face any fitting issues we can surely exchange it for you. Or we can fix it for you. 


  1. Do you take bulk orders?
    Yes we do take bulk orders, but due to low margin we would be able to offer you 10% discount only after a purchase of 40,000 INR.


  1. Can I get a saree customized in a particular combination or design?
    Sorry but unfortunately we do not customize a single saree as it is difficult to just make one saree, as the production cost goes higher. If the order is for a batch of 30 sarees or more, we could go ahead if we like the design too.


  1. Where do I ship the product incase of return or exchange?

  1. I am missing an item, what do I do?
    In the unlikely event you are missing an item from your order, this is probably due to your order being dispatched in separate parcels, if this is the case please check your emails, as we will have updated you via email on the status of your order. (Don’t forget to check your junk folder in case it’s ended up in there!)


  1. When will I receive my refund?
    We will process your return on the same day we receive your items. We recommend you to send us your complete account details, as soon as you ship the product back to us, to avoid any delays. Please allow up to 5-7 working days for your bank to process the refund


  1. I placed an order twice?
    In case you have placed your order twice and would like to cancel one of the order. Do contact us immediately. We would cancel one of your orders and your refund will go back via the payment method you used when placing your order.


  1. Can I buy fabrics from you?
    Yes you can buy fabrics from us. All available fabrics are listed on the website.


  1. Are there physical store for UTPALA?
    No we do not have a physical store.


  1. Who are your courier partners? How do I track my order?
    We have tied up with Nimbus for all deliveries. You will receive a mail with your tracking details once we dispatched your order. You can track your order 24 hours after your order has been shipped.


  1. What payment options can I use?
    You may opt to pay using Credit Card payment, Net Banking, UPI & wallet payments. Cash on Delivery option is also available. If you are facing any difficulty in completing your transaction, do reach out to us!


  1. How can I send UTPALA product as a gift?
    Get in touch with us through and we will be happy to giftwrap your product, add a personalized note (incase you need one) and route the gift to recipient's address!

  1. Can my billing address and shipping address be different?
    Yes, the billing and shipping address can be different. Customers are requested to provide full addresses with the Postal code / Zip code.


  1. Are the products shown on website accurate?
    Products on our website are handmade. We ensure that we photograph all our products under standard lighting conditions so that the product image you see is as close to the product. However, there may be minor variations in the colour of the fabric, dyes, prints or embroideries of the product image you see on your monitor / mobile phone screens / laptops etc. and the actual product. However, since these are mostly handloom products there could be very very minor changes. And we believe imperfection adds to the charm of handloom and handcrafted products.


Can I preorder a saree which is sold out?
Unfortunately we do not take preorders.
